He is the second child of a family of 6. At a very young age his parents were divorced, and he was thus raised by his paternal grandmother till his early teen. After his Primary Education he moved to Lagos to live with his uncle. He has always demonstrated his passion for music and the intent to be a singer; but his uncle and every older member of the family was against him doing music, so subsequently he was presented with two options, to further his Academic education or follow his lifelong dream and passion to create music. He chose the latter and moved out of his uncle’s house. With nowhere to turn to, he began sleeping in studios and that wasn’t difficult for he would quickly become the darling of everyone for his Akon-like voice; he was always needed for backups. He moved on to recording his own songs and later became a Recording Engineer. His presence in the studio was always teemful to every studio session because he would either help backup a song or direct it. Later, he moved on to becoming a producer because he always felt only him can build his idea perfectly just the way it has been pictured in his head.
Hollar was what you would call a ‘studio rat’ for he never lived elsewhere but studios since he left his parent’s house in the year 2005 till he could produce music professionally in the year 2012.

“Far from what the ear can hear to loss, and what any heart can’t dance to — is what I’ve always want to make musically be it with simplicity of tunes or sophisticated melody.” He says.
